Nina Schipoff

Nina Schipoff (CH/D) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Geneva, working across video- and sound installation, photography, and painting. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Space + Sound from EDHEA,(University of Applied Sciences and Arts)Sierre, with distinctions, a degree from the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD), and a postgraduate diploma from the Geneva School of Stage Design.

Her practice explores the relationships between humans, technologies, and natural systems through questions of perception, memory, space, and transformation. Starting from phenomena that often escape direct perception, plant activity, atmospheric data, electromagnetic signals, water, and glaciers, she develops immersive environments

where sensation, narration and research meet.

Her work creates spaces where fiction and science coexist and where the boundary between visible and invisible becomes porous. The body appears as a perceptual

organ, crossed by flows and signals it can barely register.

Nina's practice opens spaces of listening to non-human systems, proposing experiences that question our place in a deeply interconnected world, and invite us to reconsider our relationships within the living.
